Stationery | Koi + Envelopes

It’s like stepping onto a little bridge and peering over the edge into a pool of koi twirling around.  Well, almost.  If anything, it’s a sneak peek at an Asian-inspired 50th Birthday invitation.  Isn’t it just lovely how a liner can dress up an envelope?

The edges of the envelop flaps look like waves =
The Red Pond! I like the color choices. Great Job.

Little Black Dress Revue | Video Recap

How fun!  Jon and Kelsey Bufkin of FocalPoint Cinematic Weddings shot a video recap of the Little Black Dress Revue.  Take a look at the magic that happened when several of Nashville’s top shelf wedding vendors joined forces and threw one uber-fabulous bridal trade show!  And see my cocktail stir sticks, event programs and catering menu cards in action.  Cheers!

Stationery | Larrabee Suite

Classic black and white with accents of gold flourishes and flair – this invitation suite exudes timeless elegance and romance.  Three pieces include a main invitation, a reception & directions card, and an R.S.V.P postcard featuring the couple’s monogram.  Be sure to catch the Inspiration Board behind this design.  Interested in customizing this suite for your upcoming event?  Message me using the above “Say Hello” form.  To learn more about stationery design by Design in August check out the About page.  Cheers!

Oooh, I can’t wait to see what comes of this! Looks luxurious.

Fantastic Flipbooks

I love a good idea.  And I couldn’t resist sharing this one with you.  One of the delightful vendors who participated in the Little Black Dress Revue on Tuesday evening was Nashville’s Fantastic Flipbooks. These guys take the ever popular photo booth trend up a notch.  Nay – up ten notches.  Props and all, Fantastic Flipbooks sets up an interactive booth for party goers to play and pose.  Typical photo booth, right?  Except these guys shoot for 6 seconds, 10 frames a second, and within minutes print up a (what else?) Fantastic Flipbook party favor!  They even personalize the cover for your event.  Guests immediately have a personalized favor to capture the evening and slip into their purse or pocket.  Brilliant.  See my lovely feather-boa-wearing assistant Liz help me demonstrate…

Happy Weekend, everyone!  Olé!
